A thread lift is a type of procedure involving the insertion of bidirectional coned sutures to lift sagging facial contours. Instead of removing the patient’s loose facial skin surgically, it is simply suspended by stitching up portions of it. This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and therefore lifting and tightening the face. In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads combat aging in another way: by provoking the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas.
Face and neck.
One session every eighteen months to two years.
$500 per thread. Usually require a minimum of four threads.
Injectable local anaesthetic required.
Three to seven days depending on bruising and swelling.
Silhouette Thread Lifting is a non-surgical procedure to lift sagging facial contours.
Bidirectional coned sutures are placed beneath the skin with a fine needle to lift the neck, jowls, marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
Immediate visible lift in suitable candidates which lasts for over twelve months. The threads also stimulate collagen production for a prolonged effect on skin texture and tone.
